| 12.12.2007 : TRUenergy Compressor Flow Control |
| PSE completes an advanced compressor flow control scheme on the reciprocating compressors at the Iona Gas Plant. Implementation of first principles based flow control estimation algorithms avoided the considerable of expense of installing flow measurement instrumentation on each compressor. The algorithms incorporate the recycle flow, unloader status and can predict flow whether in parallel or series configuration. The operators can now make accurate production changes to match the frequent export gas nomination changes. |

| PSE assists with design and implementation of improved Demethaniser control at the Moomba Gas Plant. The enhanced control provides tighter cutpoint control to deliver improved quality control of both the Ethane and the Sales Gas products. |
| 01.10.2007 : PSE Accelerates Success at Worsley |
| After a request was made by operations personnel to solve a problem of overflowing tanks, with no level measurements, Worsley Alumina asked PSE to help solve the problem. The project was fast-tracked and a Multivariable Predictive Controller (MVC) application was developed and commissioned within three weeks. The improvement in plant operation was significant, with a reduction in the precursor conditions that lead to tank overflows of 75%. This result was further supported by anecdotal feedback from operations personnel, indicating a complete elimination of all tank overflow events.
This is the eighth MVC commissioned by PSE at the Collie Refinery site using Honeywell's Profit Controller technology. PSE has been instrumental in the success of these applications and provides expert front line support at the refinery. These applications have yielded benefits on many fronts, ranging from throughput improvements, reductions in maintenance requests on physical equipment and much reduced operator intervention. |

| PSE assists with commissioning of the DMCplus™ application for the third gas plant at the Victorian site of a major Gas Producer. The applications on all three gas plants help meet sales gas nomination targets whilst maximising LPG extraction to deliver a strong improvement in plant profitability. |
